That's the only centralized aspect of the app, it's a list of whitelisted "default" subs. PLEB token holders will be able to vote on whether to whitelist a sub or not. I still need to discuss with Esteban on the details, we will probably create a new feed for whitelisted subs, maybe called p/dao. So yes PLEB will be used for stuff like tipping at some point, but it will be mostly a governance token I think. Automating sub whitelisting would make the app 100% decentralized, because that file is the only centralized thing basically, controlled by devs. So the plebbit DAO will incentivize sub creation. If you create a community, and people like it, it appears in the default list for everyone. The more communities are being created, the more scarce visibility gets. You can always access a sub directly if you know its address.
