Yes it's very likely, because the token is about to gain its first utility, governance. You see the list of subs at the top? That's the only centralized aspect of the app, it's a list of whitelisted "default" subs. It's this file: https://github.com/plebbit/temporary-default-subplebbits/blob/master/subplebbits.json The default subs all appear in one feed, p/all, here: http://plebchan.eth.limo/#/p/all This year I will automate the whitelisting process by starting the plebbit DAO. PLEB token holders will be able to vote on whether to whitelist a sub or not. I still need to discuss with Esteban on the details, we will probably create a new feed for whitelisted subs, maybe called p/dao. So yes PLEB will be used for stuff like tipping at some point, but it will be mostly a governance token I think. Automating sub whitelisting would make the app 100% decentralized, because that file is the only centralized thing basically, controlled by devs. So the plebbit DAO will incentivize sub creation. If you create a community, and people like it, it appears in the default list for everyone. The more communities are being created, the more scarce visibility gets. You can always access a sub directly if you know its address.
