Why would mcp be garbage? It's a standard now, it works great and it has unlimited potential. For example, I could add mcp support to plebchan and seedit, so any AI would be able to fully control a local instance of either frontend. I could even implement my own mcp server for this, and an api, so seedit and plebchan users would be able to let their favorite AI control the app in just one click (assuming their plebbit account gets authenticated).
