its extremely slow if youre using a public gateway that does not participate in ipfs this site and plebbit work on mobile safari through cloudflare public relay or cloudflare Zero Trust vpn, but extremely slow vastly improved on brave browser on desktop, its smart enough to browse ens / .eth addresses ie going diirectly to plebchan.eth/ and plebbitapp.eth/ instead of resolving through .link you can choose whether to participate in p2p/ipfs similar to whether you seed or leech on torrent sites. this is my fisher price sandbox laptop so i opted in , it erases on reboot anyway. i dont know the consequences of someone posting illegal content and you hosting a cache of it , supposedly its fine, but so is "first amendment protected speech" the USA is constantly threatening to persecute and prosecute americans for , despite having no legal basis for it , despite it being repugnant to the constitution , and despite the constitution explicitly saying congress will enact no law protecting any religion - this means you too , jews.

plebchan dev here, the reason is that nobody is seeding except for like 3 people including myself. To seed, you just have to browse with the desktop client (ie leave it open) instead of web.
