We tried to make plebchan as similar as possible as 4chan, but it's actually not possible for the posts to be numbered, because for them to be P2P and cryptographically secure, the post ids must be hashes of the content (each post is kind of like a torrent, it has a hash as the address), and a secure hash would be like 40+ digits when displayed in decimal.

would it be possible for posts to be optionally encrypted requiring a specific key to decrypt and read, allowing for cryptographically secure p2p communications over a public board
