hi plebchan dev here >I have been tracking the plebbit contract but all it does is dump. currently it's just 500 wallets, ie like 200 people buying and selling from each other >How good will the plebbit project be until they begin marketing it? we're working on making posting 100% reliable on web, right now the web client (not the full node) goes offline multiple times a day but it will be fixed in the next few days. problems like this need to be fixed before we begin serious marketing >Will the marketing strategy extend beyond biz and reddit threads? yes, we will contact many people concerned about free speech, big tech centralization and pure p2p tech, mostly from twitter and youtube but also from smaller platforms. however note that this is a grassroots movement, no one is in charge with marketing, we're all doing our part as a community >Plebbit appears to be delisted on dex screener. you can't search tokens if they have no volume, but you can still link to them. the token is guaranteed to be tracked by sites like coingecko once it becomes popular enough, when implemented in the clients, as the userbase grows >On your github or whitepaper there is no token address. the plebbit protocol is not crypto, the clients currently in development (plebbit, plebchan, upcoming old.reddit client) will implement the token, but anyone can create a client for the plebbit protocol with no token at all >The only way to access the token contract seems to be in the telegram channel. I will probably add it to pinned tweets, it's also on plebbit.com, and this sub was created for this purpose as well. it will be noticeable by everyone once it gets implemented in the clients anyway. that is soon by btw, the upcoming plebbit dao will be used to whitelist subs in the clients, and thus incentivize sub creation >How do you expect to get mainstream adoption from the crypto crowd (which I assume you want given the plebbit token), if people struggle to find the token address. This is a social media project, so as the protocol userbase grows (regardless of which client makes it grow) and the token is implemented in client features (eg. dao, tipping, staking to remove captchas) the word will spread, it's a network effect since all clients use the same social network, and the protocol has been proven to be perfectly scalable and fast enough with the plebones experimental client: plebones.netlify.app plebones proves how easy it is to build a client from scratch, and how fast it can be, it's fully open source on github. also note that the plebbit project is extremely bullish for ENS whales, since you can assign an ENS name to a sub address, effectively making it an NFT, so as the sub popularity grows your ENS name (NFT) value should rise as well. Also plebbit is extremely bullish for DAOs, because any DAO on eth can have a sub with its ENS and only allow DAO token holders to post effectively making a homepage for the DAO.

On plebchan I noticed that this reply has green text. On plebbit this reply's greentext appears as just ordinary text. What is the developer's plan to distinguish such text on plebbit (not plebchan).
