@plebius.eth I've cloned 4chanX locally and added plebchan in the list of sites to support just to give it a try but nothing works. Did you use the same exact classes and styles that 4chan uses (futaba theme or whatever that is)?
I suppose that it should be working using classes and names/ids to add the extra functionality so if we have those in plebchan it should work out of the box.

no plebchan has a 1:1 UI but it's actually completely different code from 4chan, so 4chanx can't work. I basically looked at 4chan's CSS and HTML and rewrote it completely, line by line, with my own classes and styles. I also noticed that 4chan's stylesheets were actually left incomplete especially on mobile, it's kind of a mess, it would be cool to manually add 4chanx features directly on plebchan. You can propose them as issues on github if you want.
I don't think we can support 4chanx, what functionality from 4chanx do you want? we could add them to plebchan natively at some point
