It's need CPU+GPU combined to do mining and decent hashrate, thus only home PC's with decent combo of two can mine. Reduces influence of farms.

Until farm will have both. Anyway, i don't know if PoW is the future of smartcontracts. Things like Solana might be (the future). PoW is definitively the future of payment coins, though.
